Labour promise 'could create Welsh sales jobs'

Labour has promised to create up to 50,000 positions in Wales if it is re-elected, which could mean more sales jobs for people to apply for.

Investment in business, a hi-technology economy and exports were other pledges that the party's Welsh general election campaign will make.

First minister Carwyn Jones said that Labour will give its full support in "creating wealth and jobs" in the country.

"Rebuilding the Welsh economy means securing the recovery and investing in future growth and jobs, not cutting back on jobs support," said Welsh secretary Peter Hain, which could see more sales jobs being created.

Furthermore, Mr Hain said that Welsh families and businesses would benefit from a 50p monthly levy on telephone rentals.

A recent announcement by the Future Jobs Fund revealed that 240 positions will be created in Wales this year, which could see extra sales jobs being made available.
