Technical jargon 'should be left out of sales recruitment CVs'
People hunting for sales recruitment success should make sure that they leave technical jargon out of their CVs, according to a financial website.
The Economic Times said that, while marketers have their own trade language, recruitment experts advise that jargon should be left out until it can be used face-to-face at the interview stage.
Sales recruitment hopefuls should also make sure that they tailor their application for each different job that they apply for.
"A generic, one-size-fits-all approach just doesn't cut it any more. Consultants recommend tailoring both your CV and covering letter to the specifics of each individual position for which you apply. Copying and pasting may well be easier but putting in the extra effort is vital in order to secure an interview," the guide added.
According to CVTips.com, candidates should also make sure that they include every work experience position they have held on their resume, stating that entries like this make a CV look strong, while also filling in gaps between employment.
