Graphical trends appearing in CV presentation
Job hunters have been told that they need to keep up with graphical CV trends to give themselves the best chance of success in sales recruitment.
Iain Chalmers, director of psychometric testing specialists the Holst Group, said that the HR industry is about to enter into a new era with the emergence of more graphically led CVs.
He added that for years candidates have had a belief that clear and concise CVs have been required but now graphical documents allow employers to instantly see where a potential employee's skill set lies.
"It is important to note that key techniques such as the three levels of appraisal will continue to play a pivotal role in interview situations. Presentation, attitudes and aptitudes are part of the foundation to any successful interview process as is psychometric testing," he commented.
Research released earlier this week by HireScores.com showed that 69 per cent of people admitted to lying on their CVs when applying for a job.
