Jobseekers 'should consider range of sites for CVs'
Job applicants should ensure they look at all possible job websites before deciding where to upload their CV, it has been claimed.
According to David Hurst managing director of online recruitment portal Onrec.com, in the next few months there will be many people who are looking for a job for the first time in a long period.
He continued: "The trick will be searching the internet for the best place to find a job which might mean putting your CV on general sites where people might find you and also looking on a wider range of job boards."
Mr Hurst went on to advise that jobseekers consider niche job boards which may be specific to certain skill sets.
Research carried out by the Monster Employment Index suggests job demand has fallen in the arts, entertainment, sports, leisure, HR, construction, architecture and legal sectors in the last 12 months, reflecting slowdowns in the employment and housing sectors.
